About VOX TWO

VOX TWO

This brand-new choir for those aged 12-19 years will further develop the vocal technique of our members as they tackle brilliant harmonies, explore all sorts of different music styles and write their own music too. There will be sharings of their new found skills at the end of each term.

TERM DATES

Tuesdays 5.15-7pm from 18th April – 18th July (no session on 23rd or 30th May)

PRODUCTION WEEK*

Tuesday 11th July 6-8pm - Technical Rehearsal
Wednesday 12th July 5.30-7.30pm - Dress Rehearsal
Thursday 13th July 6-8.30pm - Performance One
Friday 14th July 6-8.30pm - Performance Two
Saturday 15th July 11-1.30pm - Performance Three
Saturday 15th July 6-8.30pm - Performance Four

*It is not mandatory for your young people to perform in order to attend ACT ONE sessions. However, it is required that, if your young person wishes to perform, they attend as many sessions as possible and must be available for the production week dates.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

- How much does it cost?

CYTO membership costs £60.00 per term. You can sign up for a free trial session before paying for the termly membership.

- What is a membership?

CYTO Membership enables you to access any of the workshops that are suitable for your age group. For example, you could be in VOX TWO and ACT THREE for your £60.00 membership.

- Can I join at any point during a term?

Yes, you can! People joining after a half-term holiday are asked for a reduced fee of £30.

- Do I have to audition?

No, you don't. For YOUNG COMPANY productions, we hold workshop-style auditions.

- What should I do if I can't afford the membership fee?

CYTO SESSIONS

All CYTO sessions are run by trained theatre professionals and volunteers who are passionate about young people, theatre and fun! Sessions are planned and adapted around the needs of our young people, who have a huge part to play in selecting themes, scripts and styles of theatre that they wish to learn and perform. Productions and sharings are performed in our theatre space to offer a taste of a professional theatre experience. We are a creative space dedicated to young people that is fun, affordable and inclusive.
