About this project
Having been awarded a thirty-year lease via a community asset transfer, CYTO are on route towards a £2.2m refurbishment of our premises on Oakley Rd, South Norwood. This venue has served as our home since 1984 and much of it hasn't seen refurbishment since then. We are determined to save this valuable community asset so it can continue to serve Croydon and its people.

How Can I Get Involved?
Apply to join the Steering Group
The Steering Group will actualise the project timeline above and monitor the progress. You will be able to contribute as a Steering Group member according to your area of expertise. We will meet for 2 hours once a month with some research being conducted in between meetings.
Please apply if you have skills in any of the following areas:

- Community Outreach
- Architecture and Design
- Management and Operations
- Activity Planning

Donate to us
In this initial stage of the process, we need to raise £25,000 in order to complete a feasibility report. We will gratefully receive any donation small or large to help us reach this goal. When donating, please add a note/comment saying 'CYTO Refurb'.
